Combo Box Version Issue

Hi Experts,

I am developing an  application for my client in which there is a requirement of Drop Down which should contain value and its description as a secondary value.

I am developing  application with eclipse  Luna latest version and using combo box latest version with description (1.32.3)  available in demokit explore.

Issue-

my client using demo kit version 1.28.32 in their frontend ERP server and this combox is not showing secondary value after uploading application  to server and fiori launchapad .

do they have to upgrade their system to latest version according to requirement or is there any other solution we have to solve this issue, like is there any other control i can use instead of combo box?

i am binding value to combox from ODATA services.
