Hi guys,
please an advice about this third party flow scenario:
- Sales order: in the first item of this SO there is a box which has components but there is not a BOM or a link between this box and its components.
The components are present on the other below items of the Sales order.
The box has a real (NOT statistical) sell price in the sales order, it is codified but NOT updated neither qty neither value on neither Plant.
On the other hand the components instead have a statistical price on the sales order and are valuated both qty and value in certain Plants.
- As already understood the only box is sold and when the PO is created and the Good receipt has made on the first item the Accounting documents on the GR related of the first PO item (in which the box is present) arise correctly (the acc assign category of the item is X and the item category is obviously S of the third party)
- About the components: as said the components are valuated both qty and value and when the PO is created these components are present in the following items after the first (of the box) with acc assign category M.
I remind that only the box is sold while the components are not sold...
So I set in these PO items related to these 'components' the flag 'Free' and in this way obviously during the Good receipt of these items the Accounting documents DON'T arise.
Question: I guess if I have found the correct solution setting the flag free on the PO items related to those components or if from Accounting point of view is not properly correct that these components, during the GR, don't trigger no Accounting documents even if they are evaluated on those Plant of the PO and have a special stock M..
